FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

Oh no, a leaky aircon can be a bit of a hassle! Don’t worry, though—this is a common issue with a few simple causes and fixes.

  • Clogged Drain Line: Dirt or mold can block the pipe that drains water from your aircon, causing it to back up and drip.
  • Dirty Air Filter: A clogged filter can make the cooling coils freeze up, and when they thaw, water might overflow. It is recommended to clean your filters every 1-2 months.
  • Full or Damaged Drain Pan: The pan that catches the water might be full or have a crack. Our technicians can help you clean it out or replace it.
  • Low Refrigerant: If your aircon’s low on refrigerant, it might freeze up and leak when thawing. This could mean a refrigerant leak.
  • Wonky Installation: If your unit isn’t level, water might not drain properly. Our fully qualified technicians can adjust it to get things flowing right.

Regular maintenance, like cleaning filters and scheduling yearly tune-ups, will keep your aircon happy and dry. If you’re still seeing drips or have more questions, we’re here to help—get in touch! 😊

Regular servicing keeps your air conditioner running efficiently, saves energy, and extends its lifespan. For residential units, it ensures clean air and consistent cooling for your home. For commercial systems, it prevents costly breakdowns and maintains a comfortable environment for customers and staff. Routine maintenance also catches small issues before they become expensive repairs.

We recommend servicing your air conditioner every 4 to 6 months for residential units and every 2-3 months for commercial units - depending on usage and environment. Regular maintenance keeps your unit running efficiently, improves air quality, and extends its lifespan.

Basic Service: Includes cleaning filters, coils, and drainage systems, checking refrigerant levels, and inspecting electrical components. Ideal for routine maintenance.

Chemical Service: Deep cleaning using safe, specialised chemicals to thoroughly wash and remove stubborn dirt and harmful bacteria from internal coils and components - improving the aircon's overall performance.  Best done every 6–12 months or for units with reduced cooling.

If your aircon is blowing warm air, leaking, has a bad smell, or hasn’t been serviced for over 6 months, we would highly recommend a chemical service for deep cleaning.

Residential: A basic service takes 20 - 30 minutes per unit and a chemical service approximately 45 to 60 minutes.

Commercial: Timelines vary based on system size—typically 2 to 4 hours for general cleaning and up to a day for deep cleaning of multiple or large units. We work as efficiently as possible to suit your schedule.

Times may vary based on condition and accessibility.

Wall-Mounted: Compact units mounted high on walls, ideal for residential homes or small commercial spaces like offices. They’re easy to install, cost-effective, and great for single-room cooling.

Cassette: Ceiling-mounted units with a discreet design, often used in commercial settings like restaurants or large offices. They distribute air evenly in four directions, perfect for larger spaces.

Ducted/Central: Hidden in ceilings, these systems cool multiple rooms via ducts, suitable for large residential homes or commercial buildings.
